Silver Chomps are a new type of Chain Chomp in the game Super Mario Galaxy 2. They resemble giant silver Incoming Chomps with red pupils and yellow lining surrounding its pupils. A single Silver Chomp first appears in the Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy. These enemies can only be defeated by Rainbow Mario or by pushing them off a cliff while on a Star Ball. What makes these enemies unique from other Chomps is that this one will actually home in on Mario or Luigi.
