They reappear in ''[[Super Mario World]]''. These variety were colored blue and acted similiar to their ''Super Mario Bros. 3'' counterparts. These were a little a little bigger and moved in an unsteady pattern, making it difficult for Mario and Luigi to pass through.

Another color variation
Spiny Cheep-Cheeps are black Cheep-Cheeps with spikes running down their backs. They only appear in a few levels on Super Mario Bros. 3 but swim faster than normal Cheep-Cheeps. The spikes don't really make it more dangerous, since touching any enemy anywhere can harm Mario and Luigi.

They reappear in Super Mario World. These variety were colored blue and acted similiar to their Super Mario Bros. 3 counterparts. These were a little a little bigger and moved in an unsteady pattern, making it difficult for Mario and Luigi to pass through.
