However, it only has two legs and its eyes emanate a red glow. The only way to defeat it is for Mario to drill through the planet from the opposite position of Digga-Leg and strike its underside. Digga-Leg attacks mainly by stomping around the planetoid. It will occasionally summon yellow drill-creaturs. When angered, it will jump high into the air and come plummeting down, damaging Mario if he was in the way. The battle is taken on a small, rocky planetoid in Spin-Dig Galaxy. After being hit three times with the drill, the boss succumbs.
