The Smile Meter.
The Smile Meter is the health meter of the Baby Yoshis in the game Yoshi's Story. The Smile Meter also represents the Yoshi's current mood. The meter is depicted as a smiling flower. When a Baby Yoshi takes damage, the flower's face will slowly change from a Smile to a Frown. If the Yoshi is hit one more time while the Smile Meter is frowning, the dinosaur will faint and be captured by Baby Bowser's Toadies.
A flower that resembles the Smile Meter appeared in the mini-game Loves Me...? from Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros.
