[[Lakipea]]s are the [[Beanbean Kingdom]] counterparts of the [[Lakitu]]s, as seen in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]''. The two creatures are nearly identical, the only differences being that the Lakipea has a sprout on its head and a vine-covered [[Lakitu's Cloud|cloud]]. Lakipeas toss [[Sharpea]]s at passersby. During battle, Lakipea throws Sharpea Eggs at [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]]; The attacks can be countered with [[Hammer|Hammers]]. Theres is a catch... if there were less than two Sharpeas Lakipea would continually spawn Sharpeas!
