Mario in the Seedbed

The Seedbed is a secret area in the game Super Mario Sunshine. It is accessed in the northeast of Delfino Plaza, via pipe. Mario must collect the eight Red Coins throughout the lawn. It is normally impossible to do this level without the Rocket Nozzle equipped. However, it is possible to reach the pipe with the Hover Nozzle, Turbo Nozzle, or Yoshi. One Red Coin is seen in plain sight and can easily be obtained. Mario can obtain another two coins by defeating the two Pokey Sprouts and two Seedy Pods that pop out of the dense grass. There is also a Pianta that has caught on fire and is franctically running around the area. If Mario can put out the flames on the Pianta, instead of being rewarded with a Blue Coin or 1-up Mushroom, he'll be rewarded with a red coin. At the top of the level, Mario can find a red bird. This bird will drop a red coin when doused enough with FLUDD. The last red coin is well hidden. By patrolling the area thoroughly, one can find a Watermelon Block someone around the field. Ground Pounding it results in discovering a secret alcove in the garden where the last red coin resides. Mario will then be able to get to the Shine Sprite.
