Jailgoon contain either a Bob-omb or a Goomba inside of them that is still apparently loyal to Bowser but has been imprisoned inside these enemies to prevent trouble. It has a cannon and shield for arms. They attack by either shooting cannon balls at the characters with their cannon or ramming into the character with their shield. Bowser can withdraw into his shell to avoid being hit by the cannon balls and has to punch the Jailgoon repeatedly to avoid being hit by its shield.
