Template:Minigame-infobox Scaldin' Cauldron is a Bowser Mini-game found in Mario Party 5.
The goal of the game is to avoid being burned by Bowser. To do this, players must hide in one of the three cauldrons, labeled B (B Button), A (A Button), and X (X Button) from left to right. Players are given five seconds to hide in a cauldron. If any player fails to enter a cauldron within the five seconds, he or she will automatically jump in a cauldron. Once Bowser steps in, he will breathe fire on two cauldrons and leave one safe. (Unless all four players choose the same cauldron and are burnt.) Sometimes, Bowser may breathe no flame or a little flame, sometimes followed by the fatal flame. The player(s) must be in the cauldron not burned by Bowser to win. This mini-game is entirely luck-based.
This mini-game, as all other Bowser mini-games, takes in some sort of mountain or keep shaped like Bowser's Head. The camera zooms to the eye, in which, in the introduction, the characters are seen running from Bowser. They run through a passage and end in a locked room, in which they will find the different cauldrons. The cauldrons are red, green and black, respectively, and are colored after the button they represent.
