Template:GBoss-infobox Kingfin is a boss in Super Mario Galaxy. It is a giant skeletal shark, living in the Bonefin Galaxy. To defeat it, Mario must attack it with Koopa Shells.
Kingfin can summon robotic fish from the craters in the planet, that work the same way as Torpedo Teds, chasing Mario down from all directions. The more damage Kingfin takes, the more robotic fish it will summon to attack Mario. After being hit with 5 Shells, it will explode, earning Mario another Power Star.
Appearance
Kingfin appears to be a gigantic fish made completely of bones. It resembles a Fish Bone with Dry Bowser's face. The bones are disappearing in parts of its body and it's teeth are extremely long. It is very large and long.
Battle
When you go into the waters of Kingfin's planet, it will appear with two robotic fish that track Mario down and take away one health. If Mario touches Kinfin, he will lose a health. The only way to defeat Kingfin is to grab one of the green or red shells on the floor of the planet and throw it at Kingfin. Once Kingfin is hit five times with shells, he will explode and release a Power Star.
