A Cloaking Device is an item in the game Perfect Dark. It is also used as a helpful item in Super Smash Bros. Melee. If a player picked it up, it turned him invisible for a short amount of time. He was not completely invisible, however, and sometimes flashed back into visibility for a split-second a couple times. However, the player might not be able to see himself because of this sometimes.
There is a special Invisible Melee mode were all players have on unlimited-time Cloaking Devices all the time.
In the Event Match Slippy's Invention, the player has to defeat Fox and Falco who both have on permanent Cloaking Devices, but can still be damaged. The Cloaking Device used by the pair was invented by Slippy.
