The Super Poltergust 3001 is an upgraded version of the Poltergust 3000 found in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. It was created by Professor Elvin Gadd. He would fly in on this machine after brewing a series of drinks at Starbeans Café. It appears to have a vacuum to suck up ghosts, just as the original Poltergust did; however, this one is shaped so one can be able to ride on it, and travel at high speeds.

- Strangely, E. Gadd created another ridable vacuum, the Poltergust 4000. Also, the standard Poltergust 3000 can be ridden once in the PAL version of Luigi's Mansion during the battle with Boolossus in the Hidden Mansion.
