- Buzzar's name is a pun on "Buzzard", taking away the "d". It could be also a pun on "Bizzare", however, if it was so easy, Buzzar's name could also be "Buzzare" or "Bizzard", but Nintendo called him simply "Buzzar".
- Buzzar talks with a country accent.
- Buzzar, like Kent C. Koopa, Anti-Guy, and The Master, is an optional boss.
