Jailruns are living cage enemies with a Bowser Minion inside only found in Mario & Luigi RPG 3.
Jailruns contain either a Bob-omb or a Goomba inside of them. It has a cannon and shield for arms. They attack by either shooting cannon balls at the characters with their cannon or ramming into the character with their shield. Bowser can withdraw into his shell to avoid being hit by the cannon balls and has to punch the Jailrun repeatedly to avoid being hit by it's shield. After a Jailrun is defeated, the minion will come out of the cage and reward the character with a Mushroom.
