The Bowser Suit (sometimes Bowser Mushroom due to Mario Party 4) is a somewhat rare item that first appeared in Mario Party 2. When used, the character who used it will wear a Bowser-like costume and be able to take twenty coins from every opponents he or she passes during their roll. A Koopa Kid may even give a character dressed in a Bowser Suit coins as well.
In Mario Party 3, Bowser Suits could sometimes be purchased from Baby Bowser at the Item Shops.
In Mario Party 4, players could only accuire a Bowser Suit by landing on a Bowser Space and even then, the chances of getting one would be slim to none. Waluigi was even pictured holding it on the box art of Mario Party 4. Strangely, in that game it strongly resembles a Mushroom, giving it the nickname Bowser Mushroom. Here, only one change in effect was made. If the player in it passed anyone, 30 coins would be stolen.
The Bowser Suit reappeared in Mario Party 8 when a player used the Bowser Candy, but this time it lets the player hit 2 dice and it will make the player steal 2 stars from everyone the player passed. It only appeared in Bowser's Warped Orbit.
It is to be noted, also, that the Bowser Suit can be seen in the original Mario Party game, in some 1-vs.-3 minigames (for example, Bash 'n' Cash and Tug o' War).
