:It's possible, but I don't think there is any hard evidence to support the claim. We do know he is the "master" of [[this world]], which means he was in control of the world, but does not mean he actually "ruled" it. (Do gods rule over their creations?) Given that we see Master Hand create the battlefields of ''Super Smash Bros.'' in its intro, we know he has the ability to create whole worlds. - I think he means that the Grammar/spelling is slighty off in some areas. (" The Master Hand is much difficult enemy in Melee because his health increases as the difficulty goes up," Blitzwing (talk · gnome work)
