The Wolfen is a starfighter in the Star Fox series. They appear alongside Arwings on stages in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It flies by frequently in the Venom stage and is less common in the Corneria stage. It sometimes acts as an additional platform or shoots at the fighters from a distance. Like Arwings, it can carry a fighter off the screen if the character stands on a Wolfen for too long. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wolfens appear in the background of the Lylat Cruise stage. Additionally, Wolf O'Donnell's entrance is arriving by Wolfen. In the Subspace Emissary, the Wolfen briefly appears. When Team Star Wolf reappeared, they were piloting Wolfen II ships--improved versions with two laser cannons rather than one and the capability to reflect attacks by rolling.
