The course's main gimmick is the Moai Heads, which do various things, such as move side to side, move up and down, and sink into the sand/ground when [[Ground Pound]]ed. Various palm trees also appear to allow the player(s) to reach high places. Quicksand also exists to hinder the player and stop progress.
