: On the one hand, I would say yes given that the Treehouse presenter calls the Spiny Shell "Blue Shell" despite it retaining its name. On the other hand, it could be a generic name. [[User:PrincessPeachFan|PrincessPeachFan]] ([[User talk:PrincessPeachFan|talk]]) 08:00, April 27, 2025 (EDT) | |||

:Robo DK is not a name any presenter came up with or blurted out. It is sourced from [https://x.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1907810797784354998 a Twitter post] by Nintendo of America. While an in-game source would be preferrable, I believe "guard Kong" used here is not meant to be a name, but only a description. Imagine if Poochy was there instead, the sign would probably then read "WARNING: GUARD DOG ON PATROL". So, given the language of the sign is possibly ambiguous, we use the post. {{User:LadySophie17/sig}} 08:53, April 27, 2025 (EDT) |

In the Treehouse gameplay video, at the 15:22-15:23 mark, Mario drives by a sign saying "WARNING: GUARD KONG ON PATROL" (next to the "How high can you go?" poster). I'd say that is a more credible source than something blurted out by a Treehouse presenter. Yook Bab-imba 22:55, April 25, 2025 (EDT)
- On the one hand, I would say yes given that the Treehouse presenter calls the Spiny Shell "Blue Shell" despite it retaining its name. On the other hand, it could be a generic name. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 08:00, April 27, 2025 (EDT)
- Something the devs put in the game seems like a better title than something the interns came up with, yes. LinkTheLefty (talk) 08:13, April 27, 2025 (EDT)
- Robo DK is not a name any presenter came up with or blurted out. It is sourced from a Twitter post by Nintendo of America. — Lady Sophie
