Official name?

I know this is like 9 years later but I disagree that "Headless Snowman" is the actual name, especially with no source or in-game quote to back it up. Seems the name for the article was based on a description used for the character in issue 107 of Nintendo Power. The title "Headless Snowman" was never capitalized in that Luigi 64 hoax page. Full quote for reference: "Remember that headless snowman from Cool, Cool Mountain? Neither do we, but he's getting his very own game[...]". This reminds me of Odolwa's Insect Minions, but that's from a different franchise.

The character is named "Snowman" (capitalized) on page 40 of Super Mario 64 Player's Guide; here's a quote for reference: "The poor Snowman on Cool, Cool Mountain appears to have lost his body." On the 1990s Nintendo.com Strategy, it is also known as Snowman, capitalized (source: here). Lastly, the mission name is ambiguously named "Snowman's Lost His Head", either describing the character or giving it an actual name. Based on the other two sources, I'll believe it's the latter. There's a separate Snowman in Snowman's Land, also called the "Snowman" in pages 88-91 & 93 of the Player's Guide (in-game signs refer to it as "Snowman Mountain" and "The Snowman"), so I'm thinking "Snowman (Cool, Cool Mountain)". LinkTheLefty (talk) 12:05, August 6, 2020 (EDT)
