Hello, I am Sophie, a patroller for the Mario Wiki, and I am a big fan of the Mario, Pikmin and Splatoon franchises! I also enjoy documenting, organizing and cataloguing information into neat pages, sheets or graphics. Some of my favorite aspects of the Mario series are the creative designs for the creatures and the charm of many locations in the series. I have made many maps trying to make these locations feel larger and interconnected, as well as analyzed various aspects that connect places and lore between games.

Current projects
On the Super Mario Wiki, I have a preference for smaller edits, tidying up articles and fixing small holes in our coverage. Among my most common types of edits are adding names in other languages, fixing/finding sources and uploading screenshots (particularly Nintendo 3DS screenshots of poor quality). My largest projects so far have been overhauling the Super Mario World: Mario to Yoshi no Bōken Land and Bowser's Minions articles.

Remove icons from Lists of Course appearances in Mario Kart Tour
! In-game quotes !! Physical sources !! Digital sources !! Archived Digital sources
The time has finally come. With Mario Kart Tour ending all new content, it is the perfect time to start addressing some of the.... issues it has caused. Namely bloated article sizes with atrocious loading times. A quick look at Special:LongPages will show you that Mario Kart Tour absolutely dominates the category. In the top 50 longest pages, Mario Kart Tour accounts for 36 of them! And of those 36, 30 are "List of [Course] Appearances in Mario Kart Tour" pages. Worse than just being long pages, these pages are absolutely filled to the brim with images. Looking at the largest offender, the number of images in the article is over 9000! (Literally. There are 9212 icons in the page.) Outdated meme aside, this drastically increases the loading times for the page, especially in slower machines. If you need to find any specific character in this, it becomes a giant game of Where's Waldo?. (There are only two regular Rosalinas in this page, can you find them?) This proposal aims to address those problems.

When adding Japanese names to articles on the wiki, it can often be hard to find the right templates to use, so here is a quick reference for easy copy-pasting them:

Don't get me wrong, I like the icons. They make the page look nice and organized. But when dealing with articles this large, efficiency should be a priority. I have made here an example of what a page would look like following this proposal. I'll be the first to admit it doesn't look pretty. It might not be the easiest to read either, but at least its contents are easily searchable with Ctrl+F, something the original lacks. Most importantly, it is less than half the size of the original, and should load much faster. This should help curb some of the unstoppable growth of Mario Kart Tour, or at least encourage some more discussion on how to stop it.

Since their debut in Super Mario World, Wigglers have become a staple across the entire Super Mario franchise. Although they have most often appeared with four body segments, Wigglers with more or even less segments have also appeared. Below is a list of Wigglers with varying body length, from shortest to longest. For the sake of being thorough, arm segments and leg segments are listed separately,  despite Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story demonstrating that Wigglers are capable of magically switching between hands and feet.
