Bloopers, also known as Bloobers, are squid-like enemies that are also one of the few enemies that are found in the water. There are many kinds of Bloopers, though the standard Blooper in Super Mario Bros. swims toward Mario in a lazy homing pattern.

The Blooper is also used as a weapon in Mario Kart DS, where after launching it all the players who currently are in a higher rank then you get a large ink blot on their screen, which obstructs the driving view of human opponets and causes AI character to swerve around on the track. If used while in first place, you ink yourself.
