:Hm. In the abstract, these are similar yes, in that fire removes them. However, what they ''ask of the player'', and their effect on the way you play in either game, is completely different. That's an intent and purpose too, and one that's very important if you're the one designing the gameplay, so I do not suspect that the developers conceived these as interpretations of one concept. - [[User:WilliamFrog|WilliamFrog]] ([[User talk:WilliamFrog|talk]]) 09:23, February 19, 2025 (EST)

Merge to Bonfire Block?[edit]

For all functional intents and purposes, these are the same object: a simple block that can only be destroyed by fire. Also, they're from games developed by the same team in a... not quite "series," but a progression of games, from the Mario Land series to the Wario Land series. Hm. In the abstract, these are similar yes, in that fire removes them. However, what they ask of the player, and their effect on the way you play in either game, is completely different. That's an intent and purpose too, and one that's very important if you're the one designing the gameplay, so I do not suspect that the developers conceived these as interpretations of one concept. - WilliamFrog (talk) 09:23, February 19, 2025 (EST)
