The other two Pokémon used by Pokémon Trainer are [[Ivysaur]] and [[Charizard]]. When the Pokémon Trainer enters battle, he starts off with Squirtle. When the Pokémon Trainer uses [[Pokémon Change]], he returns Squirtle, and sends out [[Ivysaur]] next. It is still unknown what Squirtle's attacks are at this moment. It is likely that Squirtle is the lightest of the group.

Like all Pokémon of the Pokémon Trainer, Squirtle will share the damage meter with the other Pokémon, and will have a special stat, the stamina. It is there to regulate the Pokémon changes. When the player changes Pokémon rarely or too often, the stamina of the Pokémon will run low.
