Re: Separate English files for Princess Peach: Showtime![edit]

Hi! To answer your question, yes – there are almost no changes there in those games either. The only one I could find in the two that you mentioned was that in the US English/en_US scripts, in-game dates (i.e. for when the game was last saved) are written in month/day/year format and in EU English/en_GB they're written in day/month/year format instead.

I would also appreciate if you didn't mention me in your messages to wiki admins; I would rather not bother them personally. I did decide to make a proposal about how we should list identical English (United States) and English (United Kingdom) localizations if you're interested, though. I’m still confused on one thing tho: For Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the 2024 remake of Mario vs. Donkey Kong, are there any actual differences between English (United States) and English (United Kingdom) or were they added to distinguish their date formatting but no changes to the script whatsoever? Or even then what about Super Mario Party Jamboree? CarlosYoshiBoi (talk) 15:42, February 9, 2025 (PST)

If Nintendo is also still adding English (United Kingdom) for their games despite there being almost no differences from the North American English versions aside from date or other words if needed, why do they keep American spelling? Wouldn’t it make more sense for British English spelling to be used even if it’s one of the only differences between English (United States) and English (United Kingdom)? Quick question: Does Princess Peach: Showtime! show dates for save files like most games? CarlosYoshiBoi (talk) 7:39, February 13, 2025 (PST)
Not as far as I can tell, no. There only seems to be one save file available per Switch profile anyway. PaperSplash (talk) 19:24, February 14, 2025 (EST)
Got it. I was asking so then I can see if it shows dates for saves to list both English languages in its page, but with the fact that there’s no way of seeing the date for saves and the script remains the same, I may change it to just English.
