While the driver and [[Royal bus|bus]] are different subjects, they are always seen together. Unlike [[Lakitu]] and [[Lakitu's Cloud]] that are seen apart on multiple occasions, this dude and his bus are not. Of all violators of the [[Mariowiki:Once and only once|Once and only once]] guideline, this is the most egregious. And unlike some other subjects that could avoid this by not mentioning the other subject, it would be quite difficult to do so here as the [[Royal bus driver|Lakitu]] is attached to the vehicle like glue in all his appearances (to my knowledge). These two are like [[Kat & Ana]] in that their inseparability makes keeping them split nonsensical and without merit. My [[User:Pizza Master/sandbox/other sandbox ideas|other sandbox page]] shows what the merge might look like. Pizza Master's sandbox draft of this article is good, but I'm thinking maybe we should just name it "Royal Bus" and then mention that the Royal Bus is run by the Royal Bus Driver. This would also get rid of the conjecture in the title and in my eyes, make the title better. This could just be my personal preference, but I like to go with the idea that the Royal Bus is a service, that provides a bus of the same name. With a driver that's mentioned in the same article, even though there is no mention or hint at that being the case. If someone could comment with their thoughts, I'd like to see if I'm alone on this one. | |||

And unlike some other subjects that could avoid this by not mentioning the other subject, it would be quite difficult to do so here as the Lakitu is attached to the vehicle like glue in all his appearances (to my knowledge). These two are like Kat & Ana in that their inseparability makes keeping them split nonsensical and without merit. My other sandbox page shows what the merge might look like. These two subjects are seemingly quite literally merged already so they should be merged on this wiki as well.

I did make the first mention of the "royal bus driver" conjectural like this: royal bus driver in my other sandbox page. But yeah, it'd be nice to keep the big conjecture tag out of the article if this proposal passes.--
