Through the Jet Stream is the sixth mission of Jolly Roger Bay in Super Mario 64 and its seventh mission in Super Mario 64 DS. The mission's goal is to collect a Power Star inside a jet stream. This mission cannot be completed until the Power Star of the first mission, Plunder in the Sunken Ship, is collected, as the sunken ship blocks the hole releasing the jet stream. This is the only mission in the games to share its name with another mission in the same game.

The stream is covered by a grate, which lets the pressure pass through but prevents the player from entering. In Super Mario 64, Mario can obtain the Power Star only if he becomes Metal Mario. There are three Metal Caps in the level: one on the shore where the player starts, one on a platform close to the ship, and one inside the cave where Treasure in the Ocean Cave takes place.
