'''Terry Bogard''' is one of the main characters of {{wp|SNK}}'s ''{{wp|Fatal Fury}}'' series, as well as the company's crossover series, ''{{wp|The King of Fighters}}''. He is one of SNK's most iconic characters, leading to his numerous appearances and roles.

During the September 2019 Nintendo Direct, Terry was announced to appear as a DLC fighter in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'', being included in Challenger Pack 4 of the Fighters Pass (which is scheduled to be released during November 2019) and thus being the fifth downloadable fighter overall for the game.<ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSv1-Xp3QJc Nintendo Direct, September 4, 2019]</ref>

==Quotes==
*''"Hey! Come on!"'' (Said by Terry at the end of his reveal trailer)

==Trivia==
*During his reveal trailer, several references to various SNK properties are shown in a series of "fake-out" attempts to receive the invitation. In order:
**The spinning letter with an "S" (for [[Masahiro Sakurai|Sakurai]] or Smash) emblazoned on its seal is a reference to {{wp|Rugal Bernstein}}'s letters from ''The King of Fighters'', mostly the original, ''{{wp|The King of Fighters '94}}''. The hand of the main protagonist of ''The King of Fighters'', {{wp|Kyo Kusanagi}}, is briefly shown attempting to grab it like in that game, but unlike the actual game, he misses.
**{{wp|Ryo Sakazaki}} of ''{{wp|Art of Fighting (video game)|Art of Fighting}}'' is shown immediately after, using graphics from his own series' cutscenes as he unsuccessfully swipes at the letter.
**{{wp|Andy Bogard}} and {{wp|Joe Higashi}}, the other two playable characters in ''{{wp|Fatal Fury: King of Fighters}}'' are then shown fighting over the letter.
**{{wp|Geese Howard}}, Terry's nemesis, then attempts to grab the letter only to fall from his penthouse, parodying his death in the ending of the first ''Fatal Fury''.
**{{wp|Nakoruru}} of ''{{wp|Samurai Shodown}}'' is then shown attempting to grab it with her hawk, Mamahaha.
**{{wp|Iori Yagami}} of ''The King of Fighters'' games starting from ''{{wp|The King of Fighters '95}}'' then makes a slight attempt to grab it, and laughs maniacally when he misses.
