Ghost

Ghosts debut in DK: King of Swing. They are encountered in the Ship of Souls only, where they float around a set area until they spot the player character (Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong), at which point they fade in and out while chasing him. A ghost can damage the player character while it is opaque, but a single charge attack can defeat it. Ghosts can be safely passed through while translucent.

DK: Jungle Climber[edit]

Ghosts are featured within Spooky Woods, a level in DK: Jungle Climber. They are always invisible unless Donkey Kong moves around. If it is close, a ghost scares the player character away. Ghosts pass through the player character if they are motionless.
