The Mash Run is Toad's kart that first appeared in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, however, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX is the first game to call the kart the Mash Run. It appears to be based off the Mushmellow kart in Mario Kart DS, which the respective Japanese names further indicate. It offers increased speed at the cost of acceleration; however, in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, it increases acceleration.
