:I think everything within a fictional medium that is derived from a real-life base is intuitively understood to be a representation of "X", and it is not a helpful clarification. The vast majority of the site is dedicated to fictional subjects. The only ones that are not, like those for the developers or voice actors, are readily apparent. For this case, a recurring fictional flower, it is the equivalent of saying "Donkey Kong is a representative of a gorilla in the ''Super Mario'' franchise", rather than saying "Donkey Kong is a gorilla in the ''Super Mario'' franchise". Nothing is lost, and it flows better. - [[User:Nintendo101|Nintendo101]] ([[User talk:Nintendo101|talk]]) 18:13, May 25, 2024 (EDT) | :I think everything within a fictional medium that is derived from a real-life base is intuitively understood to be a representation of "X", and it is not a helpful clarification. I don't think these should be merged; one is a gigantic dandelion seed-like object that can be latched onto and ridden, the other's a realistically sized dandelion-like plant that can be puffed out for an item. I don't think these should be merged; one is a gigantic dandelion seed-like object that can be latched onto and ridden, the other's a realistically sized dandelion-like plant that can be puffed out for an item. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:52, December 30, 2024 (EST)
