@Stumper's vote: Almost all more notable characters from the ''Mario'' series have appeared in ''Super Mario-Kun''. And there are many more Japan-only mangas which feature ''Mario'' series characters. But most people here (except for Garlic Man and a few other) don't have access to them. Yoshi's article is featured despite there's not a word about ''Super Mario-Kun'' in the article, and Yoshi is one of the main characters there. I don't think that the inclusion of information about Japan-only material should be a requirement for FA status, because of obvious reasons. --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 14:04, 19 September 2008 (EDT)

::Okay, I put a message on Garlic Man's talk page. However, if this is a requirement, then most of the featured articles on characters and species had to be unfeatured, because they have (almost) no information about Japan-only manga appearances. --[[User:Grandy02|Grandy02]] 15:39, 19 September 2008 (EDT)

Doopliss

Support

  1. I know I nominated him once long ago and he got taken off the list but his artical is waaaaaay better now it has more info more Images and is very well written thus why I say this artical should be featured. Luigibros2
  2. I added some sentences to Doopliss' intro, perhaps now he can be a featured article. I think his article is well written and detailed, and deserves to be Featured--Fantastic Mr. L 18:36, 12 September 2008 (EDT)
  3. I think this is written very well. It should be a Featured Article. Magitroopa
  4. It has a trivia section, a powers and abilites section, a biography, etc. Seems pretty good to me White Knight (talk)

Oppose

  1. Didn't Doopliss appear in Super Mario-Kun? That should get a section here as well. Stumpers! 10:51, 9 September 2008 (EDT)

Well, one thing I noticed is that the introduction is only two sentences. FAs need good leads, so I say that the intro needs to be a paragraph at least. I didn't read the entire article, but does appear to be nice, detailed, and lengthy. WK

Okay, I put a message on Garlic Man's talk page. However, if this is a requirement, then most of the featured articles on characters and species had to be unfeatured, because they have (almost) no information about Japan-only manga appearances. --Grandy02 15:39, 19 September 2008 (EDT)
