The Bears are identical characters in Donkey Kong Land III who act as a stand-in for the Brothers Bear from Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and bear a strong resemblance to Bazaar. However, other sources refer to the Bears as "the Brothers Bear."[1][2][3]
Bears operate a cabin called the Sheepy Shop in every world, including the Lost World. When Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong enter one's location, he provides them with a few options: the first one is to play the cards game, the second is a level hint, and lastly to teleport the Kongs to the main world map. He substitutes the typical role of Cranky and Funky Kong for the second and third options respectively. If the Kongs win at cards, the Bear gives them various items, such as Banana Bunches, Extra Life Balloons, DK Coins, and bear coins, and if the Kongs win a first time, they will receive a Watch.
