Just as he is seemingly about to finish the game, the batteries of his Game Boy expire. Annoyed, he throws them away, and they land right in front of Mario's shoes just as he appears with Princess Toadstool. He rebukes Wart and reminds him that batteries are not to be thrown away but to be disposed of in containers. This makes Wart even angrier, resulting in a fight between the two of them. However, Wart soon gets electrified by his batteries, and Princess Toadstool sneers at him. In the end, Mario's advice is to use a Battery Set in order to protect the environment.
