A Quick Dip in the Sky, or Meringue Clouds-5, is the fifth level of Meringue Clouds in New Super Mario Bros. U and its Nintendo Switch port. It is unlocked via completion of Spinning Spirit House and its own completion unlocks Snaking above Mist Valley.

Layout

The level begins on a Warp Pipe, and a Water Ball is located above, allowing the player to progress vertically. Koopa Troopas and Piranha Plants in Warp Pipes are encountered. More Water Balls are found, along with a group of Koopa Troopas. Coins can be found hidden in a section of the ceiling, as well as a Brick Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom. Three Water Balls are then found rotating around a pair of Big Piranha Plants. The Checkpoint Flag is found, followed by a Red Ring and more Water Balls. A Super Star in a hidden block is found here. Piranha Plants and Fuzzies are found in a section with a large amount of Water Balls. A Warp Pipe is found at the top of the area; it leads to the area with the Goal Pole and a Paratroopa.

Star Coins

	Before the Checkpoint Flag, the first Star Coin can be seen moving around the Big Piranha Plants. The player should defeat them to obtain it.
	The second Star Coin is found under a group of Paratroopas, inside a fake wall.
	The third Star Coin is between two Fuzzies in the last section before the Goal Pole.
