“...Hello? Yeah, this is Bowser. Who are you???”
Bowser, Mario Party 3

The Bowser Phone is an item found in Mario Party 3 and Super Mario Party Jamboree. Players can use it anywhere to call Bowser (in Mario Party 3) or Impostor Bowser (in Super Mario Party Jamboree).

In Mario Party 3, when a player uses the Bowser Phone, Bowser answers and asks who is calling. The player then chooses one of their opponents (or themselves) to have Bowser make them do one of his events, as if they landed on a Bowser Space. The player can also view the board before making a selection. Selecting "Who do you think?" results in Bowser choosing a random player. Upon the player selecting an option, Bowser says, "I'll be right there, so don't go anywhere!"; however, the player actually goes to meet Bowser at the same castle location as the Bowser Space. Bowser Phones are sold in Baby Bowser's Item Shops and may be given for free from a Bowser Space.

In Super Mario Party Jamboree, the player does not choose whom to call Impostor Bowser on; whoever is chosen is random, though the item's main function is unchanged. Also, if a player is sent to Impostor Bowser this way, Impostor Bowser stops the roulette himself. If the item is used in King Bowser's Keep, Impostor Bowser can be seen using a larger model of the item to call upon a player.
