Zuree is an enemy that appeared in the original Kid Icarus and Kid Icarus: Uprising. In the latter game, they can shift into a blue flame that is not affected by attacks, but it will shift back to its true form to attack which can also be attacked at this state.

Zurees also appear in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as Smash Run enemies. Like in Kid Icarus: Uprising, they are generally invisible, distinguished only by a blue flame. Eventually, they attempt to ambush the player, revealing themselves, making a characteristic noise, and swiping with their claws, which deals high, downward knockback. Their attack patter is similar to the Flage, another enemy that has originated in Kid Icarus: Uprising.

One variety on the Survive! Challenge on Hard difficulty, which can be triggered if players enter a Challenge Door, has a multitude of Zurees attacking the player.

|The Zuree usually live in the Underworld, but in Kid Icarus, Medusa set them to work guarding the Palace in the Sky. In Smash Bros., they appear as a silvery mist, waiting until they've floated close enough to a fighter before showing themselves and attacking with their sharp claws. That's your cue to fight back!
