Notable members

Snaptors[1] are enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are red birds that have plier-like beaks, yellow slit eyes, and coil necks. In addition to their role as common enemies, Snaptors are also used as transport by Ten and Shun; Ecks does not ride them due to his natural flight abilities making up for his leglessness.[2] The Snaptor's name is a portmanteau of "snap" and "raptor". They have a bigger variant called Mega Snaptor, which serves as a boss.

Battle

Snaptors have two different ways of attacking. Their first attack is by stretching their necks at Mario or Luigi to peck at them, which can be countered with a hammer.[1] Their second attack involves them flying across the screen before snatching Luigi and throwing him towards Mario.[3]
