Sprawling Savanna Rabbit Run, otherwise known as World Flower-5, is a re-designed version of the World 5 level Sprawling Savanna in Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. This level is playable as soon as World Flower is unlocked.
Layout[edit]
The player spawns on the "sprawling savanna" that the stage is named after, but the course is set in the daytime as opposed to the sunset in the original level. As the title implies, this level has many Rabbits and a Giant Rabbit at the beginning. There are several Dash Panels placed around the area to help players catch the Rabbits. Each Rabbit that is caught gives the player a different item, such as a Lucky Bell, a Fire Flower, a Coin, or even a Green Star. There are multiple Clear Pipes, most of which have Cannons on them. After climbing the stairs, there are Cloud Lifts that can help the player reach the Clear Pipes that take them to the top of the grassy plains. This is one of the few levels to have a Character Switch, and the only level with a Character Switch that gives a Green Star. Multiple moving cloud platforms can help the player reach the Goal Pole.
Green Stars[edit]
- Green Star 1: Upon being caught, the Giant Rabbit at the start of the level will give the player the first Green Star. It is much easier to catch it by holding it in place.
- Green Star 2: After climbing the staircase, the player needs to go up the cloud platforms and there will be a Clear Pipe next to one of them. The player needs to hop into the Clear Pipe and will be taken straight to the second Green Star. Another way is to climb up onto the Clear Pipe as Cat Mario.
- Green Star 3: Towards the end of the level, there is a Character Switch that only Toad can press. This will make the Green Star appear next to one of the cloud platforms.
Luigi sighting[edit]
A giant, 8-bit Luigi sprite can be seen on the ground to the right of the starting point.
