Move the page

Considering actual polar bears appears in some games and media (the Mario Show, some mangas, Minecraft, Bashmaster...) shouldn't we give this page to the actual polar bears, and move the Wario World enemy to another page? -- Mariuigi Khed 08:01, September 28, 2024 (EDT)

Agreed, because I question whether the Polar Bears in Wario World were even meant to be polar bears. The English name comes from a licensed guide and was probably a presumption based on the design of their torsos, which seems like it belongs to a cartoonish interpretation of a bipedal bear. The Japanese name, also from a licensed guide, is instead derived from their snowman heads. I personally can't confidently declare this enemy a "bear" or a "snowman", but I'm very inclined to describe it as a hybrid--not quite one thing or the other--so if there's ever a need to cover generic polar bears in the franchise, I'd rather this page be moved to "Polar Bear (Wario World)" (or "Polar Bear (enemy)" if no generic polar bears act as enemies or adversaries in the franchise) and the title without the identifier be reserved for the actual polar bears. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 08:24, September 28, 2024 (EDT)

If Mariuigi Khed is to be believed, there's polar bears in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, as well as in the Mario Mash-Up pack of Minecraft (Mario-fied polar bears as opposed to generic polar bear mobs).
