Species | Footballfish |
First appearance | Super Mario-kun Volume 10 (1994) |
Chouchin'unkou is a minor antagonist that only appeared in chapter 3 of Super Mario-kun Volume 10. It is a footballfish shaped like feces.
While swimming in Pukupuku Kai, Mario and Bowser-Wanda's heads are attached by a small octopus and a sunfish respectively, hindering them. Taking advantage of this, the Chouchin'unkou approaches and attacks them with its light, that will slowly turn them faces-shaped. To save his friends, Yoshi eats them, digesting the two fishes on their heads, laying his friends in an egg. Without the octopus draining his energy, Mario is able to defeat the Chouchin'unkou with a fireball.
