Helipad
Sprite of a helipad from Donkey Kong Country 2 for Game Boy Advance
Sprite of a helipad
First appearance Donkey Kong Country 2 (Game Boy Advance) (2004)

Helipads are objects appearing only in the Funky's Flights Bonus Game in Donkey Kong Country 2 on the Game Boy Advance. They serve as the starting and ending points of each mission. The first two missions, Aerial Loop and Submerged Stint, have two helipads due to their linear structure, though later ones only have one. To land on a helipad, the Gyrocopter must gently descend to it at a flat angle, as otherwise the Gyrocopter is damaged.
