The Great Mirror Mystery is the eleventh mission in Mario Tennis Aces, taking place in the Reflection Room.

Layout[edit]

Mario and Toad enter the Reflection Room, only to encounter the same trio of sapient mirrors they encountered earlier, who attempt to mockingly discourage them from uncovering the mirror mystery, claiming they will "never" solve it.

In this mission, Mario has 130 seconds (150 if he fails 15 or more times) to hit glowing blue spots on the mirror. One glowing spot in particular will emit a different sound from the rest, which will allow Mario to perform Zone Shots at all of the available glowing spots. This will keep happening until the three mirrors will add a final puzzle and add eighty seconds to the timer. In this next puzzle, Mario must wait for a star point to appear to perform a Zone Shot at some cog-shaped spots on the mirror, repeating this process until the shield for the clock in the middle breaks. Mario must then fire a Zone Shot at the clock to clear the mission.

Afterwards, the mirrors are angrily dismissed by their queen, who dares Mario to face her if he is up to the challenge.

In-game text[edit]
