::They're both the same from the fact that they are unique modes based on Mario Bros., just in different versions of Super Mario Bros. 3, so I wouldn't mind merging them both. Super Mario RPG (talk) 08:24, August 24, 2024 (EDT) | |||
:::No, All-Stars has both modes and they play differently. In the Battle Game, there are up to 9 possible rounds and no bonus rounds. In the 2 player mode, there are 12 rounds with four of them being bonus rounds. In the Battle Game, players start off as Super forms and can regain their forms from mushrooms. In the 2 player mode, it's small forms only. In the Battle Game, players have to scramble for coins after defeating an enemy. In the 2 player mode, players are automatically awarded coins from killing them. In the Battle Game, if a player flips an enemy back up, they change color. In the 2 player mode, they don't. In the Battle Game, the background changes for each round. In the 2 player mode, it's the same brick background. There are several other differences as well.--Platform (talk) 08:32, August 24, 2024 (EDT) |

Wait, shouldn't this be merged with Mario Bros. (Super Mario Bros. 3)? They're basically the same thing, with the only difference being that the All-Stars version doesn't affect the player's progress, which seems like a REALLY minor thing to keep these two articles split. Our article on the SMB3 version also covers a lot of ground from the All-Stars version, anyway, so I don't know why this warrants to be split. rend (talk) (edits) 08:10, August 24, 2024 (EDT)
