Once Mario has entered through the door, Morton is shown. He seals both sides of the room and commences battle with Mario. He starts off with running after Mario. He then climbs the wall and goes upside down. When he is near Mario, he falls down and creates a small earthquake. Morton repeats this sequence, and everytime Mario stomps him, Morton goes faster every time. If Mario stomps on him 3 times, Morton Koopa will be defeated and is now just a memory. Now, Mario can advance and go to [[Vanilla Dome]], the third world in [[Dinosaur Land]]. | |||

Morton's Castle (also called #2 Morton's Castle) is the second castle that Mario comes upon in his adventure through Dinosaur Land during the events of Super Mario World. It is ruled by Morton Koopa Jr. The first part is a hallway with two Thwomps. If the player was to fly through a gap in the ceiling with a feather, the player would find a bonus area. After the Thwimps, there is a conveyor with three Ball n' Chains, and the door to the next room. The next segment has lava pits, three Thwomps, and a Dry Bones. After, there is a vertical room with ledges that automatically move left and right. Scale all the way up to find a Boss Room, and a Green ! Block.
