Trivia[edit]
- Not counting the Sunken Ghost Ship from Super Mario World, Bowser's Airship 1 and Bowser's Airship 2 are the first airship levels in which the interior of the airship is explored outside of a boss fight.
- The pipe background in the interior of the airship is missing the leaking animation, instead showing a glitched airship tile. This is because the airship tileset overwrites the space in memory normally reserved for the pipe background's animation. The same also happens in the second half of Bombarded by Bob-ombs.
