<< List of worlds >> |
Krem Quay is the third world of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, and it takes place at a murky swamp in Crocodile Isle. The main landmark of Krem Quay is a large shipwreck of a Kremling Galleon said to have originally belonged to King K. Rool.[1] The ship is broken in two halves, each appearing on either side of the world map. Diddy and Dixie do not access the levels in a consecutive left-to-right order, but each level is rather found on a certain side of the shipwreck. There is a bramble field that is deep within Krem Quay. On the Crocodile Isle map is a set of stairs leading up to Krazy Kremland.
Shortly after Kaptain K. Rool's defeat on The Flying Krock, as he falls down Crocodile Isle, Kaptain K. Rool bounces on Krem Quay's location, and then into the water, where sharks proceed to chomp on him.
Krem Quay does not appear in Donkey Kong Land 2, as it was instead combined with Crocodile Cauldron to form a single world, Krem Cauldron.

Profiles[edit]
- Instruction booklet: Yet another Kremling Galleon has sunk here in Krem Quay. Once the port of Crocodile Isle (as if anyone would really want to visit), the place is now a swamp, crawling with rats and other vile vermin. Some of the underwater action here is particularly gloomy, so you'll need a friend with a light to show you the way.[2]
- Player's Guide: K. Rool proves he’s pirate and not a sailor with yet another wrecked ship. Be careful or you’ll get sunk in this swamp along with it![3]
- Nintendo Power vol. 79: What? Another wrecked ship? Hasn’t K. Rool ever learned how to drive these things?! Well, you may have steering problems in this level, too, especially since some of the stages don’t give you much time to look around and gauge your next move. In Barrel Bayou, for example, you often have to destroy a Kloak before he tosses out a bee that blocks a bonus item. At other times, though, if you let him go, he’ll throw out a chest with a terrific reward in it![4]
