Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games
Speed Highway as seen in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games

Speed Highway is a location from the Sonic the Hedgehog series game Sonic Adventure. It is a midnight highway themed stage appearing in the stories for Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. Speed Highway makes a crossover appearance in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games as the Dream Event location for Roller Coaster Bobsleigh.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games[edit]

Speed Highway appears as the location for the Roller Coaster Bobsleigh event. Here it more resembles that of its appearance from Sonic Generations than its original appearance. Many neon signs are scattered around the course as well as tall skyscrapers, some of which act as a part of the track itself. The track takes place on a snow-covered highway with many famous shuttle loops and twisty roads. Speeder Cops act as hazards as well as large wrecking balls midway in the course. At the end, the player rides down a large skyscraper, a reference to the first appearance of the track.
