Pianta judge, Super Mario Sunshine

The Pianta judge[2] is a character in Super Mario Sunshine. He holds trial for Mario when the Isle Delfino locale is vandalized by a figure resembling him. Although Peach and Toadsworth try to object, the Pianta judge overrules their objection and pleads Mario guilty. The judge then orders Mario to clean up all the goop that Shadow Mario created during his vandalism spree. The judge is seen much later in the game, dancing with all of the other Piantas and Nokis after Mario saves Delfino Plaza and all of Isle Delfino.
