No Sleep at Magikoopa Keep (known as No Sleep at Kamek Keep in British English) is the eighteenth course of Episode 3 in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name. It requires 120 Super Gems to unlock.
Layout[edit]
The course takes place in a tower with six levels which can be accessed via warp pipes, as well as a persistent Magikoopa that follows Toadette and continuously fires magic at her. Once she reaches the sixth and highest level, two more Magikoopas will appear and together they all attack in unison. They must be beaten via the nearby Turnip Cannon in order for the Power Star to be revealed.
Super Gems[edit]
Three Super Gems can be found throughout the level.
- Super Gem 1: In a hard-to-miss alcove on the second level, at the top of the first wall of Stumpers.
- Super Gem 2: Immediately after the first Super Gem, there is a Pluck Patch containing a Key. Toadette must throw the Key onto the Propellor Platform (a Lift in the Switch version) and then she must enter the yellow warp pipe to the third level to re-obtain the key. Toadette must then carry the key across three consecutive Piranha Plants before placing it into a Locked Door secluding the Super Gem.
- Super Gem 3: While on the fifth level, there is a gap in the fence that Toadette can fall through. If she falls directly on top of the Stumpers, then she can access a secret stairway leading to a secluded area containing many coins and a Pluck Patch containing the Super Gem.
Enemies[edit]
Pixel Toad[edit]
The Pixel Toad can be found at the back of level, behind the tower, underneath a pile of coins.
Luigi Sighting[edit]
By angling the camera to look down at the tower from the top in a very precise angle, an 8-bit Luigi can be seen over the tower.
