U Deluxe'' is partially a port of ''New Super Mario Bros. U'' there would not be much room for confusion as The Final Battle is the same in both games, making the extra / ''New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe'' subtitle unnecessary while making it too long. LucasG has been blocked indefinitely from editing the Super Mario Wiki for repeatedly forgetting to use italics, despite being on a last warning for it, and evading a ban twice. See the block log. |

Hello, regarding your recent edit we generally do not change the title that has a subtitle of a game to include that game's port(s) as the reason that they have subtitles is because they could get confused with a different subject from a different game, however as New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is partially a port of New Super Mario Bros. U there would not be much room for confusion as The Final Battle is the same in both games, making the extra / New Super Mario Bros. Italics[edit]
Hi, to use italics, you have to put down two HTML apostrophes (''), not a quotation mark ("). Thanks!

- Also, no matter the context a game title such as New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe should aways be italicized even when in brackets such as (New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe). Thanks for your understanding. Doomhiker (talk)
